Canonical initiates a vote: Which applications are pre-installed on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

After the Hacker News community discussed the upcoming Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) operating system, Canonical's Dustin Kirkland is now asking the Ubuntu community for comments to see what applications everyone hopes to pre-install Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. When discussing Ubuntu 17.10, many users have actively expressed their opinions, including replacing the Unity interface with the GNOME desktop environment, the new version of BlueZ bringing Bluetooth improvements, and better 4K HiDPI and multi-screen settings support.

In addition, it also replaced the default network connection manager with NetWorkManager 1.8, switched to using the libinput library (as a general X.Org input driver for processing input devices in Wayland synthesizers), and deployed a new Subiquity server Install the program, and reduce the size of the image by 18%.

Of course, they are also working hard to bring better [GPU] (https://cloud.tencent.com/product/gpu?from=10680)/CUDA, EXT encryption (fscrypt), automatic removal of the old kernel from the Ubuntu 17.10 /boot path and other functions.

But now, Canonical wants you to vote for the default application of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. As the next long-term support version of Ubuntu, it is scheduled to officially meet with you in April 2018.
