Mac uses vnc to remotely log in to the ubuntu16.04 desktop

macOS 10.15.15
Ubuntu 16.04
#2 SSH connection##
SSH connection can only see the terminal
- Install openssh-server
sudo apt install openssh-server
#3 Connect to Desktop##
- Install VNC on Mac
https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/download/viewer/macos/
- Ubuntu install x11vnc
Install x11vnc
sudo apt-get install x11vnc
set password:
x11vnc -storepasswd
start up:
x11vnc -forever -shared -rfbauth ~/.vnc/passwd
Install vnc viewer on mac, after installation, in File menu New connection, fill in ip, then click OK
