Two, virtual machine configuration
- Specify virtual machine name & installation location
- Select virtual machine algebra The first generation virtual machine (for example, Server 2008 and other platform technologies, support Vista, Win7) The second generation virtual machine (support proprietary secure boot, suitable for new platforms such as Win8, Win8.1 Update)
- Configure the network by default, choose not connected, and how to configure the network will be written later.
- Setting the virtual hard disk location & size The virtual hard disk size does not directly occupy the hard disk space, but increases as the virtual machine files increase
- Keep clicking Finish in the next step
Three, start & install
- Connect: Connect to the virtual machine
- Settings: Configure virtual machines (hardware, network, etc.)
- Checkpoint: Set the virtual machine snapshot, if you accidentally make a mistake, you can switch to the previous snapshot
- Start the virtual machine
- Start the installation and choose the first item: Install CentOS Linux 7
- Set installation location
- At this point in the installation, you can choose to set the ROOT account password (ROOT can be understood as the equivalent of Windows Administrator) or you can create other users
- Restart after installation is complete
